How does the tenant application link work?

Your agency sends an applicant one secure link for one unit. The applicant reads the privacy notice, consents and submits their identity documents, proof of income and references once, and your agency gets a single application pack.

The link is for one applicant and one unit, works once and expires. Submitting it creates the applicant’s contact, the application, its documents and references, and the checks your agency still has to carry out.

Documents are stored privately and only the agency that sent the link can open them. Each market sets how long they are kept; after that, access to them stops.

Housing Market contacts no credit bureau and runs no identity or background check: the pack gathers what the applicant submitted, and the decision remains your agency’s. The link is offered where your account and market have it switched on.
