What do the trust badges on Housing Market MLS mean?
Each badge shows one thing that has been checked about a member: identity, business, licence or track record.
- Identity: the member has passed identity verification. Every member has this badge, because it is required to see anything in the members’ area.
- Business: the member’s company registration has been checked.
- Licence: the member’s real estate licence has been checked against a public register. It is offered only in markets where such a register exists.
- Track record: based on how long the member has been in the MLS, their published listings and the MLS deals they have completed.
A badge records a check, not a recommendation. Members still make their own judgement about who they work with.
