How do buyer registrations work?

An agent registers a buyer against a developer's project to record the introduction. A registration runs for 30 days unless the developer sets another period.

When you introduce a buyer to a developer’s project, register them in the MLS. The developer confirms the registration, and the first confirmed registration for a buyer is the one that counts.

A registration runs for 30 days unless the developer sets another period for that project. Before it ends you can ask for an extension, which the developer approves or declines.

Buyer registrations are visible only to the agent and the developer concerned. They are never public.
