How do commission splits work on Housing Market MLS?
The listing agent sets the split they offer, and other agents see it before they take the listing on.
Every shared listing shows the commission split its agent offers to a cooperating agent. Developers set the commission rate they offer agents on each project.
Commission is settled between the agents, and between the agent and the developer. Housing Market Group does not collect, hold or pay commission.
Commission splits are visible only to signed-in members of the MLS. They are never public, and never appear on the portals or on agent websites.
