What is Housing Market HUB?
A property distribution product: enter a listing once, and choose which portals each property goes to.
Housing Market HUB is our property distribution and syndication solution. It is designed to help agents, developers and eligible property owners upload listing information once and distribute it to selected portals and partner channels.
The problem it exists for is re-typing. Every portal wants the same property in a slightly different shape — different fields, different photo rules, different categories — so the same listing gets entered several times, and by the third one the price is already out of date somewhere.
How it works
- Enter — put each property into Hub once: its details, its photos, its price. Hub keeps it in one shape and produces each destination's version of it from that, so there is one record to correct rather than one per portal.
- Choose — tick the portals you want each property on. Not every listing belongs everywhere: exclusive mandates, off-market properties, or a developer project you only want visible in one country. The choice is per property.
- Publish — Hub formats each listing to each destination's requirements and pushes it out. Update the price once and it updates everywhere.
It starts with the Housing Market portals, which we operate ourselves, so nothing is left in a third party's queue. Connections to external marketplaces are being added market by market.
What Hub does not do
Hub does not read listings out of your own website, software or property feed. There is no feed import and no API import to map your fields into, so a property is entered in Hub rather than pulled in from somewhere else. Supplying a feed to the country portals themselves is a different subject — see XML & feed sync.
Hub also has no status view. Nothing in it reports what is live where, what a destination rejected and why, or when each destination was last updated, so a listing is checked on the portal it was sent to.
Plans, listing allowances and current pricing are on the product site. Which portals and partner channels are available depends on the market and the plan.
