Can local agents contact me about selling my property?
Yes. After a market estimate you can say how many agents should hear about your property, and it goes to that many verified agents working your area. They contact you directly, and it costs you nothing.
Yes. Once you have your market estimate, the section "Ask agents who work this area" offers Contact local agents, and that sends your property to verified agents in that market, who come back to you directly. It costs you nothing, and you are not asked for anything beyond the name and email you already gave for the report.
You choose how many
You decide how many agents should be contacted rather than picking them by name. The portal counts how many verified agents work your market, you say how many of them should hear about your property, and only that many are contacted. If there are fewer verified agents in your market than you asked for, the page tells you so plainly rather than claiming six when two were contacted.
They are verified agents: agents whose identity and licence Housing Market Group has checked, and whose verification is re-checked every year.
What they are sent
Each agent receives your property, the market estimate range, whether you want to sell or to rent it out, and how to reach you. It arrives as a seller lead in that agent's own system, so it is worked like any other client rather than sitting in an inbox, and each one of them is contacted once — asking twice does not send it twice.
You get your own confirmation email saying how many agents your property went to.
If it is not offered to you
Where agent introductions are not available on your portal, the page says so and everything else stays yours: your market estimate, the full report and the property saved in your homeowner account are unaffected.
