Can I be alerted when a market changes?

Save the markets you follow to your watchlist and turn alerts on. Alerts are emailed only when a watched market has a new validated collection.

Save the markets you care about to your watchlist, turn alerts on, and they are emailed to the verified address on your account.

Setting it up

  • Open Settings, then Watchlist.
  • Search for a market by city, province, region or country, and add it. A watchlist holds up to 30 saved markets.
  • Turn alerts on and choose the delivery frequency — a weekly digest or a daily update.
  • Save your preferences. Enabling alerts without saving does nothing.

The watchlist is also how you stop re-picking the same city every time you sign in: saved markets are offered first when you change market.

When an alert actually fires

Only when a watched market has a new validated collection. A market whose research is still being built will be quiet, and that is the system working rather than failing — there is nothing to report and it will not manufacture something.

An alert is a notification, not a recommendation. It tells you something new was collected; reading it and deciding what it means is still your job.

Alert emails are separate from marketing emails. If you want to stop marketing messages without losing your alerts, manage the two separately rather than unsubscribing from everything.

Which plan includes this

Multi-market watchlists and their verified market alerts are free and included with every account, including the free tier. The plans page lists them with Insights Free, and Settings says the same.
