Can my colleagues use my Housing Market Insights account?

Not by sharing your sign-in. Create an organisation and invite them, so each person has their own credentials and their own role.

Insights has organisations — a brokerage workspace — and a colleague joins yours through an invitation rather than by using your sign-in.

Why not just share the password

Because a shared password means you cannot tell who did what, you cannot remove one person without changing it for everyone, and everything tied to the account — brand settings, saved markets, guides, leads — belongs to whoever happens to be holding it.

The roles

  • Owner — the person who created the organisation. An owner may invite managers and members.
  • Manager — may manage the organisation and invite members, but not other managers.
  • Member — belongs to the organisation without managing it.

Inviting someone

  • Open Settings, then Organisation, and create the organisation if you have not already. You become its owner.
  • Invite the colleague by email address and choose their role.
  • They receive an emailed invitation with a link. It expires after 14 days.
  • They accept while signed in with the address the invitation was sent to. An invitation cannot be accepted by a different address, and it can only be used once.
  • Before it is accepted, a pending invitation can be cancelled by an owner or a manager.

The limitation to plan around

A pending invitation can be cancelled. Removing a colleague who has already joined is not something the current screens do, so if somebody leaves your firm, raise it with support rather than assuming you can do it yourself.

The plans page lists brokerage workspaces and team controls among the Insights Pro features. Check your own account for what your plan includes.
