How do I create an account or reset my password in the API console?

Create an account

• Open console.housingmarketapi.com and choose Create an account.
• Enter an email address you can open now and a password of at least the length the screen states, with upper and lower case letters, a number and a symbol. Choose Create account.
• The console shows Check your email. Open the email we send and press Confirm my email address. There is no code to type. The link works for 7 days; if it does not arrive, choose Send the link again.
• Sign in with the same email address and password, then choose your countries and plan. Your API key is created only after the first payment.

Until you confirm the address you can sign in, but you cannot use the console. A banner offers Send me a new verification email, and Wrong address? Change my email address if you typed it wrongly.

If you have forgotten your password

• On the sign-in page choose Forgot your password?
• Enter your email address and press Send me the link.
• Open the email, press Choose a new password, type a New password and press Save password. Then sign in.

The link works for 24 hours and can be used once, and your password stays as it is until you save a new one. For your privacy the page gives the same answer whether or not the address has an account, so if nothing arrives, check your spam folder and the spelling of the address.

One Housing Market account signs you in to every Housing Market product. If you already have one, use the same email address and password.
