How do I add pages and sections to my website?
Open the website with Edit, add pages under Pages and sections with Add a section, then Save and Publish.
- Under Your websites, press Edit beside the website.
- Under Pages, choose a page, or choose Add a page. Give it a Title and a Page address, and optionally a Description.
- Under Sections, choose Add a section and the kind of section you want, then fill in its fields.
- Use Move up and Move down to change the order of the sections, and Remove to take one away.
- Press Save, check the result with Preview, and press Publish when it is ready.
The sections you can add
- Banner: a headline, a second line, an optional photograph and buttons.
- Text, and Photograph and text: a heading and paragraphs, the second with a photograph from the library beside them.
- Services, Testimonials and People: short items you write yourself, such as a service, what a client said, or a member of your team.
- Call to action: a heading, a sentence and buttons. Opens chooses where each button leads: a page of your website, your listings page or your enquiry page.
- Properties: your published listings, as cards that each open the property page.
- Development: a project, its developer and its completion, with a table of its units marked Available, Reserved or Sold.
- Contact details: your email address and telephone number, as links.
The editor also offers Market figures, Client reviews and Team. Those three show nothing on your published website today: they read from Housing Market Insights, a connected portal account and Housing Market CRM, and those connections are still being built.
Your pages make up the website menu, in the order they are listed under Pages, and each page appears there under its Title. A Properties entry joins the menu once you have a published listing.
Nothing you change is visible to visitors until you press Publish. If the console says somebody else saved the website while you had it open, reload it before making your changes again.
A save is refused if two pages share an address or a heading or paragraph is empty. Dragging sections into place is still being built.
