How do I search and filter listings on a country portal?
Pick a marketplace first — Buy, Rent, Vacation Rental or Co-Living — then narrow with the filter bar.
Each portal runs four separate marketplaces, chosen from the tabs on the home page: Buy, Rent, Vacation Rental and Co-Living. They do not share results, so a property listed for sale will not appear under Rent however you filter.
On a results page the filter bar offers:
- Location — a city or area, with suggestions as you type.
- Listing Type — for sale or to rent.
- Property Type — house, condo, land, business and so on.
- Sale Type.
- Min Price and Max Price, in the portal's own currency.
- Beds and Baths, as a minimum.
- Sort — the order results come back in.
On the map, a row of switches above it shows only Featured, Trending, Special, New or Saved listings, shows or hides featured Agents, and opens a Legend explaining what the pins mean. Saved is your own favourites and needs an account. These switches belong to the map: List View does not have them. See the answer on searching on the map.
Two ways to read the results
Results open with a map beside the list. List View drops the map and gives the results the full width, which is the better view for comparing a long set, and Map view brings the map back.
Sharing what you found
Every filter you set is written into the page address, so copying the address out of the browser and sending it to someone gives them your exact search rather than the unfiltered page. The same is true of a property page reached from a search: your filters travel with it, which is what makes going back to the results work.
