How do I search on the map?
Search results open on a map. Move or zoom it and the results follow; choose a price to preview a listing; the switches above the map narrow what it shows.
Search from the home page, or open the results for a city, and the listings open on a map beside the list. List View hides the map; Map view brings it back.
- Drag the map or zoom in and out. Once the map stops moving, the results are searched again for the area you are looking at.
- Choose a price on the map to open a preview card of that listing. The heart on the card saves it; choosing the card opens the property page in a new tab.
- Draw lets you outline an area and search only inside it. While an area is drawn, moving the map does not search again; Remove Boundary clears it.
The switches above the map
- Featured shows only featured listings, the orange pins with a star.
- Trending shows trending listings, and Special shows special offers.
- New shows listings added or updated in the last 30 days, the green pins.
- Saved shows only the listings you saved. It needs an account.
- Agents shows or hides featured agents on the map, the teal pins.
- Legend opens the map key, which explains the colours and the numbered groups of listings. Zoom in to split a group apart.
On a phone, the map has Featured, Trending, Special, New and Saved, without Agents and Legend.
