What does it mean when a source is on probation?
Its figures are collected but not shown. For several weeks they are compared with trusted sources, and the source is then promoted or dropped automatically.
A source whose trust score is neither high enough to approve it nor low enough to reject it goes on probation.
While it is on probation, Insights keeps collecting its figures but shows none of them. For several weeks they are compared with the figures of trusted sources for the same country, metric and period.
If they agree often enough, the source is promoted and its figures can be published. If they do not, the source is dropped. Both happen automatically, and the source’s record is kept either way.
