Which currencies are used?
Prices are always returned in the listing's original local currency. The API supports all local currencies across the 34 marketplaces and never converts prices.
Property prices are always returned in the listing's original local currency for the country where the property is located. The Housing Market API supports all local currencies across our 34 real estate marketplaces, ensuring pricing is displayed exactly as published by the listing agent or property owner.
Supported currencies include, but are not limited to, ARS (Argentina), AUD (Australia), BHD (Bahrain), BRL (Brazil), KHR (Cambodia), CAD (Canada), CNY (China), COP (Colombia), EUR (Cyprus, Germany, Spain), AED (Dubai/UAE), EGP (Egypt), HKD (Hong Kong), INR (India), IDR (Indonesia), JPY (Japan), MYR (Malaysia), MXN (Mexico), OMR (Oman), USD (Panama, United States), PYG (Paraguay), PHP (Philippines), QAR (Qatar), SAR (Saudi Arabia), SGD (Singapore), TWD (Taiwan), THB (Thailand), TRY (Turkey), GBP (United Kingdom), UYU (Uruguay), VES (Venezuela), and VND (Vietnam).
Property prices are not converted by the API. This ensures that all listings reflect their original published price and currency, providing maximum accuracy and consistency for developers, real estate portals, CRM systems, and property marketplaces.
For rental properties, the returned price represents the published monthly rental amount in the property's local currency.
