Can people save the photos from my listing?

On a property’s own page the large photo, the two tiles beside it and the full-screen viewer do not behave like ordinary web images. Right-clicking one does not offer to save it, dragging it off the page does nothing, and pressing and holding it on a phone does not open the save sheet.

It is worth being straight about the limit of that, because the alternative is an agent believing something about their photographs that is not true. A browser has to receive a photograph in order to show it to anybody. So nothing done on a web page can stop a screenshot, and somebody who knows where to look can still read the address of the image file and fetch it. What is switched off here are the three ways a photograph gets copied on impulse; a person who has decided to take one will manage.

Nothing else about the page changes. Your photographs are still ordinary images to a search engine, so your listing still appears in image results and still shows a picture when its address is shared. Links in your description still open their own menu, and the share buttons still work.

This applies to the property page. A photograph shown elsewhere — on a search result card, or an agent’s profile picture — is an ordinary image. There is no watermark on portal photographs.
