How do foreign buyer campaigns work?
Promote a live listing to Housing Market shoppers in another country, in their own language, once the Housing Market team has approved it. You never see the shopper list. It is part of the Pro plan.
Under Marketing, choose Foreign buyer campaigns and then New campaign. Choose one of your live portal listings, search for the country the shoppers are from and choose the language of the email. The language is set from the country's most common language, and you can change it. Choose Check the audience to see how many matching shoppers there are. A campaign needs at least the number the screen states, and below that you are told there are too few.
Choose Write the draft. The writing assistant writes the subject and the message in the shoppers' language from your listing. You may add notes it should say, and it restates them without adding anything. Read the draft, edit it, preview the email and then choose Send for review. While it is waiting for review you can take it back.
The Housing Market team reviews every campaign. An approved campaign is emailed on your behalf to shoppers who asked to receive property offers and whose profile shows the country you chose. The country is the one in the shopper's profile, not their nationality and not where they are browsing from. No personal details are shared with you. You receive only the enquiries that shoppers choose to send.
Each campaign shows its status, from Draft and Sent for review to Waiting for review, Approved, Sending and Sent, with the audience, how many were sent and how many were delivered. The campaign is not charged.
