How do I promote a listing to shoppers?

On a live portal listing choose Promote to shoppers. The listing is emailed to property shoppers on the portal who are looking for a home like it. You see how many match, never who they are.

Promote to shoppers is on your live portal listings for sale or for rent, and in the list called Shopper promotions. It is part of the Pro and Business plans. A property that is only in your CRM must be published to the portal first.

Choose the area (the whole province or this city only), a price range around the asking price and the bedrooms. The screen shows how many matching shoppers there are. A promotion needs at least the number the screen states, so widen the area or the price range if there are too few. Only shoppers who agreed to receive property offers are included.

Choose a template: Spotlight, Just listed or Personal note. Add a subject, which is the listing's name if you leave it empty, and a short message if you like, then preview the email. It is sent from the portal's own address and features your name, photo, logo and the listing. Then choose when it goes out: as soon as it is approved, or at a time you choose.

The screen shows the price before you pay. You pay for the matching shoppers shown, and after sending you are charged only for the emails that were delivered and the difference is refunded. The Housing Market team checks every promotion before it is sent, usually within one working day, and if it is not approved you are refunded in full.

Results show the matching shoppers, how many were sent, delivered, opened and clicked, the enquiries and the unsubscribes. Shoppers can unsubscribe from property offers at any time.
