How do I add the Website Widget to my website?

Create the widget in the CRM’s Website Widgets section, copy its snippet and paste it into the page where the listings should appear.

  • In Housing Market CRM, open Website Widgets and create a widget. Choose its type, design and the properties it shows.
  • Under Websites, add the address of your website and prove that it is yours.
  • Open the Publish step and copy the snippet. The CRM shows the exact snippet for your widget, with the steps beside it.
  • Paste it into your website where the listings should appear, then publish the page and check it.

The snippet has two parts: a script line that loads the widget once per page, however many widgets the page has, and a short placeholder line that marks where the widget appears. The script line looks like this: <script async src="..."></script>. Copy the real snippet from the CRM rather than typing it.

  • Wix: Add elements, then Embed Code, then Embed HTML, and paste the snippet as code.
  • Squarespace: add a Code block and paste the snippet. Code blocks depend on your Squarespace plan.
  • Webflow: add an Embed element and paste the snippet, then publish the site.
  • Shopify: in the theme customiser, add a Custom Liquid section and paste the snippet.
  • WordPress: add a Custom HTML block and paste the snippet, or use the Housing Market WordPress plugin.
  • Any other website: paste the snippet into the page’s HTML where the listings should appear.

If your website builder removes script tags, the Pro plan offers an iframe version of the snippet that needs no script on your page. If the widget does not appear after pasting, see the answer in this section about a widget that is not showing.
