Can I ask for research on a city in Housing Market Insights?
Yes. At the bottom of a market’s research page, choose Request research. The page then shows where the request has got to.
Yes. Every market’s research page ends with a Request city research card. Any signed-in account can use it, on Insights Free or Insights Pro.
Steps
- Open Market research and choose the country, region and city.
- Scroll to Request city research at the bottom of the page.
- Choose Request research. The button then reads Requested. If you are signed out, the card shows Sign in to request research instead.
What happens next
- Each account counts once per city. Asking again from the same account does not add a second request.
- The card shows where the city has got to: Requested, Researching, Under review or Published. Our reviewers move it through the first three.
- It shows Published once approved evidence for that market has been reviewed after the request was made. That evidence then appears on the research page with its publisher and date.
- A request does not set a date. Every source still has to be found, read and approved before it is shown, as for every other market.
