Is there an API and webhooks?
Yes, on Business. Create an API key to read and write leads, contacts and deals over REST, and register webhooks to be told when leads, deals and published properties change.
In Settings, open Integrations to create API keys and webhook endpoints. The open API and webhooks are one feature on Business, because a key acts for the whole office rather than for one agent.
REST API
An API key reads and writes leads, contacts and deals, and reads properties. Requests are rate limited, responses are paginated, and CRM sign-in sessions are not accepted in place of a key.
Webhooks
Register an https endpoint and choose the events it receives:
- A lead is created — in the CRM, through the API, or from a portal enquiry
- A lead is updated or reassigned, including a stage change
- A deal changes state in the deal tracker
- A CRM property actually reaches its portal
Every delivery is signed so your system can check it came from us, failed deliveries are retried, and a delivery log shows what was sent and what your endpoint answered. Send test delivers a test event once, so you can check an endpoint before relying on it.
This is the CRM's own API. The Housing Market API for listings and feeds is a separate product with its own documentation.
