Where do enquiries from a shared guide go?
To the Leads section of your Insights account. They are private to the account that published the guide.
They appear in the Leads section of your Insights account, and they are private to the account that published the guide. Another agent cannot see them, and neither can anyone else in your organisation unless they are signed in as you — which they should not be.
What is recorded with each one
- The name, email address and message the person supplied.
- Which guide and which market they were reading.
- The date and time they gave consent to be contacted, and which version of the consent wording they saw.
That consent record exists so that you can show, later, what the person actually agreed to. Use the enquiry to respond to what they asked about. It is not a general marketing permission.
If the Leads section is empty
Enquiries only exist where a guide has been published to a public link and somebody has completed the form on it. Building and saving a guide does not create leads; publishing it and someone using it does. Publishing requires Insights Pro.
If you withdraw a public link or let it expire, the page stops accepting enquiries. Enquiries already received stay in your account.
