Why might a listing or account be removed?

For policy violations, inaccurate or expired inventory, suspected fraud, missing verification, an intellectual-property complaint, non-payment, or a legal requirement.

A listing or an account may be restricted, suspended or removed for a policy violation, for inventory that is inaccurate or has expired, for suspected fraud, for verification that was asked for and not supplied, for an intellectual-property complaint, for non-payment, or where a law or a regulator requires it.

What a visitor sees afterwards is the same whatever the reason. The listing stops appearing in search results, on the advertiser’s agent page and in the count of their listings. Its own address stops showing the property: anyone opening a bookmark or a shared link reads “This property is no longer listed”, with a line saying it may have been sold or rented or taken off the market, and a Browse properties button. The page answers as not found, so search engines drop it instead of keeping the old advert alive.

If you are the advertiser and believe a decision is wrong, appeal it rather than republishing the content — see "How do I make a complaint or appeal a moderation decision?". Opening a second account is not a way round it, and one email address is one account across the group in any case.
