How do I link a lead to a property?
Pick it as the Interested Property when you create the lead, or choose Link to a lead on a property card in My properties. Enquiries from the portal arrive already linked to their listing.
A lead that names its property shows it on the lead's page, with its photo and a link to the listing. Enquiries from your portal listings arrive linked to the listing they were about. For a lead you add yourself, there are two ways:
- When you create the lead: in the Interested Property field of + New Task, search the portal listings by address, area or city and pick one.
- From the property: in My properties, choose Link to a lead on one of your CRM properties, then search your leads by title and pick one. The lead's timeline records the link.
If a lead has both, its page shows the CRM property.
Tag Property to Contact is different
On a lead's page, the + beside Tag Property to Contact adds a listing to the contact's tagged properties, not to the lead. It does not change which property the lead is about.
