How does open-house QR sign-in work?
Open one of your live listings in the CRM, choose Open house sign-in, make a sign-in page and print its poster. Visitors scan the QR code, sign in on their phone and become enquiries for the listing.
Open house sign-in is on every listing that is live on a portal, on every plan, Free included. Give the open house a name, for example Saturday 10:00 to 12:00, and choose Make the sign-in page. You get a sign-in address you can copy and a poster with a large QR code. Print the poster, or save it as a PDF from the print window, in the language you pick for it.
A visitor scans the code and sees a plain form in their own language: name, email, an optional phone number, an optional message and an unticked box to receive property emails from you. They need no account and no app.
Each sign-in becomes an enquiry for that listing, with the source Open house, and you get the usual new-enquiry notification. Someone who signs in twice at the same open house counts once. A visitor joins your marketing list only if they tick the box, and someone who has unsubscribed from your emails is not added again by a tick.
Choose Close sign-in when the open house is over. Nobody can sign in with the code after that and the page says the open house has ended, while the enquiries you already have stay.
