What do the stars and the “Verified agent” tag next to an agent mean?
They are the agent’s trust summary: the average rating and number of client reviews from Housing Market CRM, and a tag for agents whose identity and licence check was approved in the last 12 months. An agent with neither shows nothing.
On a property page, the box with the agent’s name can show stars with the average rating and the number of reviews, for example “4.6 · 12 reviews”, and a Verified agent tag. Listing cards in search results show the same summary in a smaller form.
- The rating comes from reviews that the agent’s clients leave through Housing Market CRM. It appears only once the agent has at least one review; the portal never shows a default rating.
- Verified agent means Housing Market Group approved a check of the agent’s identity and licence within the last 12 months. The check is repeated every year.
- Home owners who advertise their own property have no trust summary.
- No stars and no tag means the agent has no reviews and no current verification yet. It says nothing bad about the agent.
