Can I create tasks?
You give a lead or a contact a follow-up with a due date, and optionally a reminder before it. Calls, viewings and meetings go in the calendar against the property and the lead.
There is no general-purpose task manager, and the vocabulary is worth getting right because the product's own screens use it. What you create is:
- A follow-up on a lead or a contact, with a due date
- A reminder some time ahead of that due date
- A property viewing, in the calendar
- A phone call, in the calendar
- A meeting, in the calendar
This answer used to list document requests and client reminders as task types. Neither exists. What is real is the follow-up: it is dated, it raises a notification when it falls due and again when it goes overdue — each exactly once — and the follow-ups screen shows what is due today, what is late and what is coming.
