Can I sync the CRM with my calendar?
Yes, on Pro. Connect Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 (Outlook) under Settings → Calendar connections. Events you add in the CRM go to your calendar, and changes you make there come back.
Yes, on Pro. Open Settings (the gear) → Calendar connections and choose Connect next to Microsoft 365 or Google Calendar; until you have connected one, the Calendar page offers the same two buttons. Microsoft 365 covers Outlook, whether you sign in with a work or school account or a personal Outlook.com account. You sign in at Microsoft or Google and approve the connection there. Because the sync runs both ways, the CRM asks to read and change the events in your calendar; it never asks for access to your mail on that screen.
Once connected, the sync works in both directions with your main calendar: the default calendar in Outlook, the primary calendar in Google. Events you add in the CRM, including every viewing a buyer books, are written to it, and events you add or change there come back to the CRM with their title and time, marked as coming from your calendar. The CRM syncs on its own every five minutes, and Sync now on the Calendar connections screen syncs straight away. When the same event is changed in both places, the more recent change wins. Deleting an event in your calendar removes it from the CRM only if it came from there, so a booking or a record attached to a client is never lost.
The CRM also reads your busy times before it offers a viewing slot, so buyers are not offered a time when you are already busy. If a connection expires, the screen asks you to reconnect it, and online booking pauses for you until you do. You can disconnect at any time, which deletes the credentials the CRM holds; to withdraw the permission itself, remove the application from your Microsoft or Google account.
Connecting a calendar is separate from connecting your email. Reading and replying to client email from your own Microsoft 365 mailbox inside the CRM inbox is built as a separate Pro feature, but it cannot be switched on from the app yet, and Gmail mailboxes are not supported. Without a connected calendar, the CRM's own calendar and the emailed calendar invites work as before.
